Super Duty Commuter 2.0 System
The Super Duty Commuter 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality, who don’t plan to off-road their vehicle beyond low-speed trail driving. Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0″ Diameter, Internal Reservoir shocks, we’ve developed a tune that delivers all-around comfort and ride quality for on-road, in-town, highway, and towing/hauling.
Shocks
- Mono-tube, internal reservoir, Carli SPEC 2.0 shocks
- 6063 Aluminum construction, anodized for corrosion resistance
- 5/8″ hardened steel, chrome-plated shaft
- Full serviceability & rebuildable
- 1-piece bushings in 6061 billet rod-ends
- Spec’d with premium 5WT oil for consistent damping and wide temperature range
- 1-year warranty, serviced by Carli
Front Suspension
- Taller Progressive Rate Coil Springs – raises truck 4.5″ in the front
- Radius Arm Drop Brackets – resets pivot point for linear travel
- Sway Bar Link & Drop Brackets Kit – resets sway bar engagement point
- End Link Kit (required)
- Bump Stop Drops – protect shocks from over-compression
- Adjustable Track Bar – centers the front axle
- Stainless Brake Lines – firm pedal feel and accommodate extended travel
- Caster Shims – tighten steering geometry
Rear Suspension
- Supports either Full Progressive Replacement Leaf Spring Pack or Progressive Add-a-Pack
- F250: Add-a-Pack provides a nice improvement over stock
- F350: Full Progressive Leaf Springs recommended due to stiff factory springs
- Full Progressive Pack shifts axle slightly forward for maximum tire clearance
- Optional Long-Travel Airbags restore factory payload capacity if needed
Wheel & Tire Recommendations
- Factory wheels should NOT be used with oversized tires
- Recommended wheels: 17″–18″ diameter, max 9″ width, 5″ backspacing
- Recommended tires: up to 37″, E-Rated
- Oversized tires may cause rubbing on radius arm, sway bar, or brake lines
- Ride will firm up with larger wheel diameters
