Thread Cleaning Chaser (M12 x 1.75)

Prepare your engine block for reassembly with the XDP Thread Cleaning Chaser (M12 x 1.75) XD40125TC. This tool is designed to clean internally threaded holes before installing head studs, main studs, factory-style bolts, or other fasteners.

Unlike a tap, a thread chaser is not intended to cut new threads. It cleans existing threads by removing old sealants, lubricants, gasket material, and other debris that can affect fastener installation and torque accuracy during engine assembly or repair.
